Welcome to a special edition of LOTL Lounge, where we spotlight vibrant lesbian and queer stories, artists, and the fierce community that connects us. In ...this curated musical journey, you’ll discover iconic and emerging LGBTQI+ musicians and songwriters who have graced our lounge over the past three months. This episode celebrates their creativity, resilience, and the unique soundscape thriving across Australia and beyond.


Episode Highlights


A key theme that emerged was the importance of visibility, community support, and ongoing advocacy for queer women and LGBTQI+ artists. The conversation focused on challenges facing independent music creators, from battling industry gatekeepers to the rise of AI in music, and underscored how essential it is for listeners to directly support queer artists.


Our Curator & Guide


This special collection has been co-curated with Adelaide’s own DJ Josh (https://linktr.ee/djjoshadelaide) , an industry legend whose career spans four decades supporting dance music, queer events, and LGBTIQ+ culture. DJ Josh’s reflections painted a vivid picture of the evolution and revolution of queer spaces, reminding us why music and visibility matter so much.
